This slideshow presents my 3 deconstructions on 3 double page spreads. On each double page spread I have gone through analysis of features included in average double page spreads, and why they are used and included for readers.
I have learned the basics and essential conventions for double page spread, and I am now aware on what I need to include in my own work, to make it reliable to readers. For double page spreads in general, it is all about written content, and I will make sure to put this in account when creating mine.

Deconstructions Of Contents Pages

These are my deconstructions of three magazine contents pages. In this PowerPoint I will be discussing and analysing the features of these prints, and explaining why they are used. I have chosen three different kinds of genres as they all present different ideas and significant features to their prints, such as, language and design to fit their particular genre and target audience.
I have learned different aspect from these deconstructions. One thing is that all contents pages fro different magazine are different, and can basically take on any structure. They are definitely organised and carry the current theme of the issue. I will definitely take on these tips for my own work and how I manipulate it.

Deconstructions Of Front Covers

This slideshow presents my deconstructions of three magazines, of my own choice. I have chosen them to be similar to my chosen genre, which is a mix of hip hop/rap/R&B, which these magazines include. I have analyised different aspects and factors of all of the magazines and discussed their role and why editors choose to use or include them, along with why they look the way they do, and how that appeals to readers.
I have learned different aspects from this, mostly the main conventions that creates a fort cover, and allows it to be professional and high quality to readers. From looking at past covers, I have now been inspired, and I have now got some ides on how to design my own cover, as well as what conventions and elements to include.
